I was born in Guildford and brought up in the lovely little village of Alfold, near Cranleigh in Surrey.
I have always loved anything creative; drawing, painting, making things....
I studied GCSEs and A levels and immediately started my own business making jewellery and cards
and selling them at craft fairs.
In 2001 I opened a shop in Cranleigh selling my creations. This ran very successfully until I decided in
2009 that I needed a change and closed the shop to begin selling online instead.
My business is now running successfully online and has the freedom to be less stressful than a 9-5 shop!
I still have my loyal 'Cranleigh' customers, many of whom have become good friends, and I am constantly meeting new and interesting people who share an interest in my work.
When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my husband and our cat Lexi, chocolate (any kind!), music (especially Mumford and Sons!), my two gorgeous nieces, laughing with my family and friends, Gavin and Stacey, Outlander, reading (especially Anne of Green Gables!), holidays in the west country and the sunshine.
Things I don't like: celery, bad manners and lies, spiders..... oh, and rude customers! (believe me, I came across many in my shop and who are thankfully no longer my customers!) ;-)
